Bloomfield Escape provides all the modern conveniences for your comfort, right on the doorstep of a wilderness area of raw and untamed nature. Our air-conditioned cabins are a short walk to beautiful Weary Bay beach. Bloomfield Falls are just upstream from the bridge and community of Wujal Wujal, while the magnificent Roaring Meg Falls are a 1-hour drive away. Take a boat ride on the beautiful Bloomfield River or head to the nearby fringing reef and islands for snorkeling and fishing.

This private property has a small number of fully self-contained luxury cabins, which provide a haven to relax and unwind from the stresses of the everyday. The cabins have two Queen beds and are positioned to provide privacy and capture the gentle sea breezes, whilst also having air conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort. The PWD cabin has a Queen bed and Single bed. The cabin interiors are open plan with vaulted ceilings adding to the sense of space. Stacking sliding doors allow easy movement from the outdoor and indoor living spaces and all of the furnishings, appliances and appointments have been carefully chosen to maximise lifestyle. From the Weber BBQ on the deck, to the fully-equipped kitchen and large bathrooms.
During your stay with us you’re welcome to explore our grounds, which are landscaped to be productive as well as pretty. We have coconuts, limes, lychees, soursops, rambutans, mangosteens, breadfruit, oranges, mandarins, four types of mangoes and much more. You’re welcome to help yourself to seasonal fruit. The area surrounding us at Bloomfield Escape is rich in Indigenous and European history; in fact, Captain James Cook’s Endeavour struck the reef within sight of Weary Bay. You can bring your boat, hire one of ours, or book one of our private reef and island charters for a full day adventure. There’s numerous rainforest creeks and rivers, a bush beach and lots of walking tracks and trails. Or … just lay in a hammock … you can do as much or as little as you like when you stay at Bloomfield Escape.
